Connecting Through Sign:
   ASL for Childcare and Classroom Management. Increase the learning opportunities and abilities within the childcare, classroom and home visitation environments. Learn an innovative way to compound child participation and educational outcomes, while decreasing noise, frustration and behavior issues. Management, problem solving, encouragement, transition and play signs will be learned and practiced through games, songs and ASL book reading. Participants will receive instruction for the use of 75+ American Sign Language Signs.

 

Playgroups: Moving Beyond Freeplay:
   Increase the effectiveness of your playgroup. Discover strategues to integrate development, parnent education, literacy and early intervention into your program with budget-friendly activities designed to increase child development and parent participation. This workshop will provide participants with information on the components of building ab efective playgroup program that incorporates activities that enhance child development, early intervention and parent-child interaction.

 

Essential Play... that's FUN!:  Fresh Ideas & Activities
Participants Wanted!!  Experience first hand the fun in learning.  New Activities, Crafts, Circle Time and more, based on developmental domains for early childhood fun and education, are demonstrated and executed.  This session will provide the opportunity for hands-on exploration of new activities as well as ideas for improving and rejuvenating current play formats and programs.  Attendees will participate in each activity to be executed.  Additionally, find out how to proactively engage and involve parents within your program.



ABC Do Phonics
What does sound look like?  Come find out in this wonderfully innovative Workshop.  Embracing each of the learning style and maximizing that strength for the learner makes this training workshop a must!  Utilizing in the Kinesthetic and Visual nature of American Sign Language add to the Auditory learning of the sounds makes spelling and reading possible for very young learners.
